Presentation at the Third International Virtual Conference on Ukraine, Sweden
On 22 August 2026, I presented my research on Lublin’s city-to-city cooperation with Ukrainian municipalities at the Third International Virtual Conference on Ukraine, hosted by Linköping University. The presentation examined how wartime municipal solidarity can develop into institutional capacity for Ukraine’s reconstruction.
International Scientific Conference on Economic Security and Global Digitalization: Poland-Ukraine-Slovakia
On 12 June 2026, I presented research on urban networks and economic security at an international conference organised by the State Tax University of Ukraine. The contribution examined how municipal cooperation can strengthen critical public services, crisis response and Ukraine’s resilience in the digital age.
V International Scientific Conference on Contemporary Political Processes: Subnational Actors in a Global Polycrisis
On 21–22 May 2026, I contributed to the V International Scientific Conference “Contemporary Political Processes: Global and National Dimensions.” My paper examined how global polycrisis is transforming the international agency of cities, regions and transnational municipal networks.
All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference on Memory Politics and Local Territories
On 15 May 2026, I took part in the All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference “Ukrainian Memory Space: Historical and Political Context.” My contribution examined how local territories, commemorative practices and the documentation of wartime experience strengthen Ukraine’s political subjectivity.
The Örebro Conference: Truth Matters – Mis(sing) Information

International Scientific Conference on Public Authority under Martial Law: Legal Restrictions on Information Dissemination
On 17 June 2022, I contributed to an international scientific conference on the organisation of public authority under martial law. My paper examined legal restrictions on information dissemination, military administrations and the balance between national security and timely public communication.

Ensuring Confidentiality in Mediation of Political Conflicts
This article examines confidentiality as a foundation of trust in political mediation. It analyses Ukrainian and European standards, identifies gaps in legal protection and presents a non-linear model of the mediation process, arguing that sensitive information must be protected throughout every phase of political conflict resolution.
The Role of Mediation in Political Negotiations: Rethinking Traditional Approaches
This article compares direct political negotiations with third-party mediation and explains how mediators can restructure dialogue, separate political positions from underlying interests, identify potential areas of compromise and prevent conflict escalation. It examines mediator neutrality, trust, confidentiality and political authority as essential conditions for effective international conflict resolution.
Scopus-Indexed Publication: Creating Effective Mechanisms for Refugee Support in Lublin, Poland
This Scopus-indexed article examines how Lublin and the surrounding Polish border region transformed an emergency response to Ukrainian forced displacement into a coordinated system of refugee support. It analyses reception, transportation, housing, education, employment, healthcare and integration, highlighting cooperation among local government, public institutions, civil society, humanitarian organisations and residents.
Ethical Dilemmas of Contemporary Political Mediation: Adapting to Modern Challenges
This article examines five central ethical dilemmas in contemporary political mediation: short-term peace versus long-term stability, party autonomy versus pressure, economic benefit versus human rights, effectiveness versus mediator neutrality, and democratic values versus international commitments. It offers a framework for understanding how ethical choices shape negotiation and conflict resolution.
