Sweden: City-to-City Cooperation in Ukraine’s Reconstruction
My paper on city-to-city cooperation in Ukraine’s reconstruction has been accepted for presentation at the Third International Virtual Conference on Ukraine, hosted online by Linköping University on 21–22 August 2026. The study examines institutional lessons from Lublin’s cooperation with Ukrainian municipalities and the long-term role of municipal partnerships in reconstruction.

A lecture series by Ambassador Piotr Wilczek explored how artificial intelligence, social media, algorithms and disinformation are transforming diplomacy. The discussions also examined historical memory and cultural diplomacy, showing why modern diplomats must combine digital competence with secure communication, cultural sensitivity and the ability to compete for attention without losing credibility.
